Our Mission

Pfeiffer Library contributes to the university’s mission by connecting the Tiffin University community to quality resources and services that address the information needs of research, learning, and professional practice.

About Us

Pfeiffer Library provides the Tiffin University community with free and seamless access to millions of information sources for research, learning, and professional growth. Our patrons can utilize the campus collection of print books and periodicals, request print materials from other Ohio schools through the library’s membership in the OhioLINK consortium, or access a robust collection of eBooks, peer-reviewed journal articles, newspapers, and more, electronically from anywhere in the world. The campus library also offers checkout options for small equipment and non-traditional materials such as remote controls, headsets, makerspace carts, green screens, and mobile whiteboards. Students can reserve quiet study room space (link: http://library.zo23.com/rooms) in rooms fully equipped for study, group work, or remote meetings. Hardwired computers and free black and white printing are available, and laptops may be checked out for in-library use from the main desk. Pfeiffer Library is also the location of the University Archive (link: http://library.zo23.com/archive).

As an active participant in the learning process at Tiffin University, Pfeiffer Library offers many opportunities for its students, faculty, and staff to enhance information literacy skills and practice lifelong learning. Librarians conduct class visits in many seated courses each semester, and the library frequently collaborates with faculty in course development. Instructional webinars (link: http://library.zo23.com/events) are offered every semester on a variety of research-related topics, and the library’s website boasts a growing list of tutorials (link: http://library.zo23.com/guides) to support research and learning.
